Welcome to my page lovely soul! You can call me Kalo!
In 2004, World of Warcraft was released. In 2004, I was also 4 years old and barely more conscious than a potato. Nonetheless, my dad excitedly sat me on his lap, opened up World of Warcraft, and made me my very first character: a night elf hunter. When he asked what I wanted to name her, what else does a 4 year old girl say other than her favorite Disney princess "Snow White". That name was taken and he said "how about Snowbite instead?" And with Snowbite, he set me down this path of gaming that I will always be grateful for.
I have taken a handful of game development, animation, and art classes, but my major is in computer science. Admittedly, I am more of a creative-brain than the hard-logic-brain type, but I find that computer science puts extremely important skills for game development into my toolbelt and the struggle is worth it all. As I finally take a step into the game development pool, I realize there are a lot, and I mean a LOT, of tools and skills I need to learn in order to get into something as interdisciplinary as game development.
